Valve spring question

2.0L 67
Are the valve springs progressive. I've read they are and a proper install is required.
I cannot see this on my springs.
Eg anyway will do ??
Thanks lyndon

Normally the tighter wind is pretty easy to see. Maybe try to post a picture?

Take a 1/4” drill bit and spiral it to each end you will see the difference

Thanks
Now that makes sense

Yep it's progressive.
Learn something every day.
So easy to see once I used the drill bit and marked it.
The white mark nearest the bottom is the bottom when installing.
A side note I can't find any info on spring fitment in Wayne's book
