2.2T break in

Hi All,
I have rebuilt my 1971 T engine to original spec with the exemption of the oil bypass mod. I have the original oil pump.

This is done internally:
Cylinders honed
New main bearings
New rod bearings
New seals
New piston rings
New cam chain and cam sprockets
New valve guides
Valve seats machine matching

I'm now at my third oil since startup. I follow Waynes recommendations.

I will now drive it for 500 miles keeping it well below 5000 rpm.

Next up it states:
Oil change #3 (fourth oil since startup)
33) Check valve clearance. (0,1 mm)
34) Check head stud nuts. (32 Nm)
35) Install valve covers with new gaskets. (8 Nm)
36) 32) Drive for 500 miles.

Oil change #4 (fifth oil since startup)
33) Check valve clearance. (0,1 mm)
34) Check head stud nuts. (32 Nm)
35) Install valve covers with new gaskets. (8 Nm)

My question is, from the rebuild I've done. Is it necessary to check valve clearance and head studs twice within 500 miles? The engine has been completely apart so this might be important. And better safe than sorry, right?

I'm a newbie and trust this board to give me the right advice.

All the best,
