Why are you being a that way?

Search the forum and see what people have recommended to seal the #8 bearing. Many use more than the O-ring. If you are replacing the O-Ring on the #8 your case is clearly split. Did you buy a bottom end gasket kit? Use what came in it. The Pulley seal very rarely gives any failure, chose the one that is available or came in your kit. Most Rear main seals work fine. Some argue that option A is better than option B. But they all seem to seal when installed correctly. The only issues we have seen is with worn crankshaft ends.

Cheers

There’s a few new options out there that I havnt seen before like a green Viton oring for number 8.
Or maybe I just havnt noticed it before. Not my first rodeo just concerned about quality with everything these days. Thanks for your input.
