Seniors Moment-Leaking Cover
My apologies, but it’s been ten years since I took apart this ‘86 3.2 motor so I have forgotten more than I remember!
I have this sweating cover just below the crank pulley (which is dry BTW). Cannot remember what it’s for. ![]() ![]() It’s not clear to me what is behind it other than the seal. Can I simply remove the cover and replace the seal without screwing something up? TIA Johan

Cover for the intermediate shaft
There is a green rubber seal that goes on it to replace original red Lube it and install without pinching Bruce |

Are you certain the leak is not originating higher up? ie, crank pulley seal, or #8 nose bearing/case?
