A 914 with slide valves - nice
Can you tell if the slide body is cast and post machined? Sorta looks all machined, but the pockets (black?) almost look to have casting marks in them.
Nifty setup. How do they run? |
possibly old ProTechnik slides.
everything looks machined alum. the dark arears are just dirt/grime. everything runs very nice, I just want to switch to carbs
Why would you switch to carbs if you have one of the best possible setups??
im not good with efi/ecu tuning... I like to keep it simple.
I’d buy that for a dollar, cool looking setup.
any idea what the valve size is?

Easy as that. Simple. |
Depends on what engine management system you have and its tuneability. On another issue, how does one get around the pooling of fuel on top of the slide plates at idle. Once on the track, I am thinking maybe better atomization of the fuel. I have the option on my stacks to go either way and at present they are down below the slide plates. I am MFI, not EFI . Thinking out loud. Bob

Talking about the injectors installed above the throttle plates.
