Engine rebuilds for later model cars

Can anyone help me identify a good reference resource for rebuilding/modifying engines from later model 911's - basically 964 and 993 engines?

No books, lots of anacdotal data from individuals. The limiting factor is the throttle body. Neither "Barn door" used on 964 nor MAF used on 993 tolerate much overlap, so you are limited to 993RS cams if hyd. actuation is desired or 993SS(or some of the GE series cams or equivalent). Displacement increases to 3.9 are available(big, big bucks), it's easier(and cheaper) to fit bigger valves in 964 heads than 993)

regardless, all 964/993 respond really well to cams/valves/port work and if $ allows displacement increases

Start by disassembling to crankshaft, Raceware or ARP rodbolts are mandatory, stouter rods only it RSR type power & rpm levels are anticipated.
