Weber Jet Recommendations for a 2.4L

I am in the process of rebuilding a 2.4L engine for a '72T. The build is basically stock, just with necessary machine work and parts replacement. I measured and calculated compression for the engine at 7.9, this is up from 7.5. I am also rebuilding the Webers IDAP, I believe from '68 from the vacuum port. The questions are two:

1. Suggestions for unscrewing the vacuum port, pictured below, short of heating with a torch. Also the appropriate plug.

2. Modifications to the existing Venturi and Jet setup. Currently;

30mm main Venturis
4.5 Secondary Venturis
125 main jet
F1 emulsion tubes
180 main air correction jets
52 idle fuel jets

I'm not sure where you are located, but unless you can't get decent gas, you should REALLY consider raising the compression ratio. You should shoot for between 8.5 and 9 -1. Put the compression ratio where Porsche designed it and not where the politicians mandated it. It will run so much better.

Also CONSIDER E cams. There is no downside to E cams, only more power.

Then if you want any power above 5k rpm, open the intake ports to 34 or 35mm.

As far as your carbs go 32mm vents, 135 mains will be a better choice.

Get and install an Air Fuel gauge in order to set the mixture correctly. HBTDT a couple of times, trust me, there is no other way to get the mixture set correctly.
