Help Please - 997 Oil separator Vent Hose Installation

I am in my final stage of inserting back my totally rebuilt (previously very badly blown engine) back into my car after 3 Years! Thank you to Wayne’s book for getting the engine out of the car …and hopefully back in. This has been a two year rebuild….damage was so severe to the lower part of the cylinders that they needed to be totally bored out and have new cylinders installed….engine had to be shipped to the UK where the Hartech team did an amazing job installing new cylinders (3.8 to now 3.9) and providing new matching Piston and rings. Shipped back to Canada, parts and advice from LN and Pelican …..and now I am finally ready to finishing hooking the engine back into the car…..except for one outstanding issue….HELP.

There is a nipple about one third along this vent hose that I can’t figure out what it is suppose to attach to? help?
