HP numbers for a moderately built 3.2?

What kind of HP numbers can you expect from a moderately built 3.2?
Nothing exotic, no twin plugs or short stroke.
Thanks.

What is moderately built...?
If you build it stock (which is moderate..), you will get stock HP. That is 207Hp (1984-86), 217Hp (1987-89) or 232Hp (RoW cars).
If you keep the bottom end (74.4mm x 95mm) and get 964/993 cams and a SW chip, you will get around 250 to 260Hp.
If you keep the bottom end and get slip in 98mm P/Cs, you will get a 3.4L, and with 993SS cams and the ScarSeller ECU tuning and MAF rather than AFM, and good headers and muffler, you can get to the 270 to 280HP RANGE. If you get 100mm bore in P/Cs you will get a 3.5L, and with the right cams and intake mods 300+ HP is possible.
If you want to bump the compression ratio above 10.5/1, you should do twin plugging (using a 964/993 distributor and a Bosh splitter).
The possibilities are endless, it's only your bank account that is the limit. I'm building a 3.8L out of my 3.2L, with all 997GT3 internals, 102mm P/Cs, wild cams, ITBs, headers, etc, etc.
In theory you can build the 3.2L up to 4L, using an 80.4mm crank and 102mm P/Cs.

I think 240 is an acceptable number. Cams, chip, exhaust. But it's just a number. Some engines "feel" better than others. Taking weight off the car and setting up the suspension also makes a big difference.

This! Character is so much more important than absolute numbers unless you are racing it

Thanks for the replies everyone.
Fly911, thanks for all the info. That gives me a good idea as to what I was looking for.
