ARP bolts touching inside of case
Hey. I have a problem where my newly installed ARP rod bolts is slightly touching the inside off the engine case. Is this a known problem? In the pictures you can see where it has slightly shaven off magnesium shavings. Is there something I can/ should do about this?

What engine and what part number for the bolts?

You should fix this, luckily you can remove the rods without splitting your case…maybe you change out the bolts. What case crank and rods do you have?

Are the pistons installed? And the bolts are hitting when rotating the entire crank, rods and piston assembly? I ask because the rods can hit without the pistons guiding them in their correct alignment.

Your gonna have to split the case and get rid of all those shavings and do a proper inspection.
