Yellow zinc fan strap
Is anyone still supplying fan strap in yellow zinc? It seems the Porsche Genuine are all now stainless steel.

964 106 251 20 Slightly different style in terms of the cosmetics, but available.

We have bought 6 in the last 6 months, all yellow zinc.....
Bought from SSF, who we have a wholesale accout with. Same place Pelican buys them from. States "oem" but to be honest not sure who is producing them.. But cheaper than us blasting, tumbling and gold cad plating the original ones. On "those" motors we go throught that process..... We still have couple not installed yet. When I get in to the shop tomorrow I will look at the packaging and see if it shows the manufacturer and I can take pics if you would like. Cheers

A picture would be nice. It seems that a lot of the "OE" stuff does not now have the yellow chromate finish.

The chromate process involves using some highly carcinogenic chemicals. If not already, it will soon be replaced by some other process over most of the First World. So expect to see fewer yellow tinted metals...
