Need help with chain tensioner plumbing

Hey guys,

I'm in the final stages of the rebuilt of my 73t 911T-V. The car had hydraulic chain tensioners retrofitted which I'm going to reuse.

My car has the oil pressure sensor in the back (near the flywheel) and not on the front as on most other cars. This means I don't have the "block" (911 107 704 00) which was used on the later cars.

Instead there was an extension installed on my car. First I'd like to know if this a Porsche part or a hack. Also I have no idea on how to seal the extension to the case as there is almost no flat surface for a sealing ring.

I thought the 73 used a much smaller oil pressure block than the later cars
Looks like what you have will work.

Thank you! I have a better understanding now.

The problem with my current solution is that I cannot get a proper sealing ring surface between the case and the extension. The part John posted would be a good option but shipping to Germany will be expensive.

I guess my best option will be to buy the Carrera block and relocate the pressure sender to the later style position.

Thanks!

If the oil pressure sender is forward by the breather, you can eliminate all but the regular case fitting, by using the 964 3.3 Turbo cam feed line.

Why would you want to move the OP sender to the inaccessible "triangle of death"? If I have to replace the OP switch someday, I'll install a combined OP sender and switch at the back of the engine, where the OP sender currently is, to make it more accessible.

Valid argument. I wanted an OEM solution, but with gled49's comment I think that will be the best option.

Thank you all!
