Air Fuel Ratio Meters

This has been covered before, but I thought there might be some new products out there.

Does anyone make an air/fuel ratio meter that will fit in the place of the clock? Or if you have made something I would appreciate products used and pictures.

x2 on the AEM 30-0300. I've been researching UEGOs for my own build, the AEM has the fastest response time. Here's a link to a Speed Academy article showing the results of a test done by Tony at UMS Tuning, the same tuner used by TK. I have no affiliation with AEM, UMS or TK.

I have designed a pod specifically for the AEM X-Series gauges to replace the clock. I have one in mine currently, still retains the rubber trim ring around the clock for a factory style fit. I'll take a picture tonight and post it. I 3D printed the one I am using, if you would like, I can print one and send it out to you for a small fee.

I mounted mine to the underside of the ash tray with one of these brackets:

I’m having John (jbell959) build me a dual AFR gauge that will fit where the clock sits. This will need the signal from one or two wideband AFR controllers

Is there a preference towards using a dual or two single controllers? If using one dual controller, which one do you prefer?

For standalone kits, I prefer the Ballenger AFR500 with NTK sensors but it supports Bosch LSU 4.9 as well:

This has been far better than the AEM stuff based on what I have seen in the local racing scene hear in Northern California and Reno, NV. They don't don't have a dual sensor kit but two would work great. They even have a CAN version.

The AFR500 has a built-in display but you can hide it from view.

I second this. John Bell does excellent work.

Steam,

I am in the process of doing this and will install after clutch repair. I am using an AEM X-series controller and John Bell made a custom triple for me with the AEM data. Will use the analog output from the controller to the gage. This retains the ability to maintain the closed loop O2, or disconnect and plug later if I choose.

Concurrent with install, I am also adding a Dansk premuffler (removing CAT), and had my welder add a and bung to run both the O2 sensor to the ECM and WBO2 to supply 0-5V signal to new gage.

Hope to have it all done end of March to mid-April.
