Tensioner Sprocket Question

Guys
Building my 71 2.5 with new Carrera tensioners…. and looking for L& R really nice used tensioner sprockets ( new seems out of budget)
Original part numbers were 901type but see that the later turbo version was 930type
Can these be used directly or mods required.
Best way to evaluate used condition ?
Thanks for assistance
Frank

The early idlers were used through about 1980. The large hole side of the tensioner were narrowed and the later idler was widened to take up the space and inserted with brass to get rid of the steel on steel idler.
Just a note, Supertec, does the mod upgrade to brass on your early idlers

Are you searching for the idler sprockets or the idler sprocket arms ? I've never seen a worn out idler sprocket , but the arms should be upgraded .
