Cerakote High Gloss Ceramic Clear on Valve Covers?

Guys with experience with Cerakote on engine parts, what do you guys think about MC-160 High Gloss Ceramic Clear Coat on Valve Covers? Is it high enough temp resistant for this application? Thoughts and/or experiences with it.

Thank you. Reading about that one now, and it appears to be the choice with raw aluminum.

Sorry, but why do you want to insulate the cooling features of an air cooled motor?
Didn’t the factory put extra finning on the exhaust valve covers….for appearances

Should have clarified, raw bilett aluminum versions. I'm not putting these things on uncoated, with zero corrosion protection.

I thought the extra finning was for reinforcement to keep valve covers flat and true to stop oil leaks?

Maybe I'm wrong here, but I don't think TBC coating increases surface temperature. I would think that would defeat it's purpose, completely. That type of technology is rather modern (outside of DOD Aerospace and NASA), automobile manufacturer's weren't using it in production on their engines certainly in the 60's, which would make your point valid assuming it wasn't around as an "insulator".

The added structure is there to prevent oil leaks, as the cover without had a tendency to warp. There is NO cooling done at the valve covers... at least not in the sense that would keep the engine cool. Do you know how many race engine, and normal everyday engines have seen millions of miles with coated valve covers, with NO discernable degradation to engine cooling? We are not talking about the cylinder or cylinder heads here... just the valve covers.
