Weber Transition Port Modification

Does anyone have any information on modifying the transition ports on Weber Carbs to improve performance? Info like how it works and how to do it would be helpful.

thanks,

JB

try everything else first. there used to be tiny little tapered sleeves available to return the drillings to stock, when enlarging them made it worse. they're not available now, according to PMO. generally, the center one is enlarged one jet drill size at a time to fine tune a hesitation out. but there's lots of ways to do that without potentially screwing up the carbs forever.
