PMO part size

A (hopefully) quick question for the group. I'm having my 2.7 CIS motor from my '75 911 rebuilt and replacing the CIS with Weber 40 IDAP's. I understand that I need some insulators to raise up the carbs and a manifold gasket kit. They should be the 40mm version and for CIS heads as they have a different shape, correct? I see that our sponsor sells several sizes from 36-42mm. Also, do I need the CIS plugs that PMO makes?

Part Number: PM-O925-0 40mm CIS Insulator Set, 6 pcs

Part Number: PM-O132-5 40mm CIS Manifold Gasket Set, 12 pcs

Part Number: PM-O133-6 CIS Plugs

Thanks in advance!

I'm going through this now. I managed to get some 40x34mm pmo intakes, but i don't think those are made anymore. The next best setup is 40x36mm intakes. You would also buy the corresponding 36mm insulator kit. No CIS plugs are needed.

You're right, I only see 40x36 and 40x37 for sale. Good to know on the CIS plugs. Thanks for the feedback and good luck on your project
