Help Identify These Brackets and Placement
I’m towards the end of rebuilding my 3.0, and can’t find these two in my copious amount of photos. Definitely from this engine or transmission.

I don’t recognize either one

Do you own a vw bus? That part on the right looks like a sliding door part.

Judging by the secondary screw being 6mm, I’m thinking the right one must have a cushion clamp attached to it to support something. The left one had a 4mm screw that attached the line clip. Does the Venturi have a support? All, Thanks for putting your thinking caps on. |
The bracket on the left in your picture supports the fuel line clip. Mounts on the intake runner stud # 3 over the blower bracket

Thanks, only one to go.
The old age is creeping in. ;) I can recall part numbers that I used daily when I was working for an aircraft manufacturer from 1981. Before that I could take apart a Honda CB750 motorcycle to single pieces, put them in a big box, shake them up and reassemble without a photo, diagram, or any notes at the age of 14. I guess two brackets isn’t to bad for the short term memory. Better than a Goldfish which wakes up for the first time remembering nothing ever 2 seconds. Quote:

I found the last one. It is part of the cruise control system. I believe it supports the pod to throttle lever.
Anyone have a photo of this area so I can see the orientation?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1713404512.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1713404512.jpg |
