1973 911 S engine and transmission rebuild
I have a local reputable shop rebuilding my engine and transmission. It was way beyond tired. After several months it is almost ready to get on the road. Any tips on break in on engine etc. I think I read in one of Wayne Dempsey books. Change the oil and filter severa times at the shop before you hit the road on the initial start up process.

There are lots of opinions on this, but since you had the engine rebuilt by a shop, do what they advise in order to ensure they cover any problems under warranty.
