RSR Timing Specs 2.8/3.0 RSR cams (not SPRINT)

Hi all,

I'm seeing a bunch of conflicting info on how to set up the factor RSR cams used on the 2.8/3.0 (stock rockers).

All I can find is that the setting value for overlap 6.2 mm, maximum valve lift inlet 12.0 mm, maximum valve lift outlet 10.5 mm, spread 100 degrees, timing 330 Degree inlet, 290 degree outlet.

Does anyone know the degree of open intake/exhaust BTDC and BBDC, lobe center degree ATDC and BTDC, valve close degree ABDC ATDC? Or does anyone have a photo of the factory manual on setting timing for it?

Would also like to get the factory specs on the RSR camshaft.

Pretty sure Bruce Anderson's book has these specs. I can get it in a day or two when I have the book in front of me. Ping me in a couple days if no one else has responded by then.

See pics below from the Anderson book. It has the opening and closing events, which I believe are measured as “seat timing” (not measured at .050” or 1 mm). I don’t see the duration or lobe centers mentioned in these specs, though it should be possible to calculate them from these specs.

In the first pic, look for 911/20, which is the 906 engine. The RSR timing, shown in the second pic, had the same cam timing events as the 906 with more lift per Bruce’s book.
