3.2 crank and 60-2 flywheel in 3.0

Someone posted about building a 3.2 in a 3.0 case. Here is a picture of how I installed the crank position sensor very simple

I will be doing something similar but will likely make some spacers on the lathe. I was thinking about using studs with lock nuts on both ends but still thread the case. Was your transmission already notched for clearance of the sensor or will you be doing that as well? Im interested to see that when you put it togeather.
