Head bolt torque spec question

Factory torque spec for heads studs is 21.-23.9 ft lbs.
ARP says 38 ft lbs for theirs….anyone know it’s so much higher.

So they are still pushing 38ftlbs when they previously acknowledged 28 was the more appropriate specification?

That post/account has been reported at least a couple times. Still here. These clowns keep the mods busy I suspect.
