2.7lt with E Cams Timing Lift at Overlap
Hi. I am rebuilding a 1976 2.7 Engine with European RS Barrels and Pistons, with EFI, and am looking fpr advice with the Cam Lift at Overlap for this engine.
The E cams P/N 901 105 181 00 L/H and 901 105 110 00 R/H, Lift at Overlap isquoted at 3.0 > 3.3mm for a 70 engine and 2.7 >3.1 on a 72on engine. while these engine are not the 2.7 Lt I an wondering which would be the best for the bigger engine. I am thinking the earlier advance setting may be the better one. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks MichaelS911 |

You can’t go for top end on your highways, so I would go to about 3.3 and call it a day, better off line response Bruce |
