Chicago area failed rebuild

I need some guidance….i’ve been a victim of a mechanic who had my car for two years, and blown out the engine 3x. I need to figure out next steps for my rebuild. I know Fischer, Barnabbe, and Perfect Power are up this way, but that’s 35-40k to basically start over. Any other thoughts for those who use some folks out of Florida who take the engine by mail and rebuild. Any thoughts or guidance?

Supertec does air-cooled 911 engines from all over the world. There are no better but they are busy.
If they are willing to take on what sounds like a nightmare, you won't find better.
Careful... if your feelings are hurt easily.

So do you have a core engine to start with and what’s wrong with it ?
Did it blow in
your car or on the dyno , will make a difference due to oil coolers
Lines and other things that might have metal shavings in them

I have had great work done by Olsen Motorsports, in Downers Grove IL.

If budget is a concern, I'd avoid Chicago shop rates. Trailer it up to Milwaukee and take it to Joe's Garage. Joe and Justin both have motorsport backgrounds and are used to tearing down and repairing popped engines.
