Piston skirt coating?

I'm putting together a 2.7 motor with a new set of Nickies cylinders and CP-Carrillo pistons. Thoughts on having LN Engineering (or someone else) coat the piston skirts?

Rough idea for use is as a track day/canyon car. Not a full-blown competitive race car. A few other main engine components for context:

- Carrillo rods
- 46mm webers
- DC60 cams
- ~10.5:1 CR

You can get them coated through CP too... I'd ask them what the pro's and con's are.

I ended up calling CP and doing just that. With the amount of money going into the rest of the build, for $40/piston the coating seems like a no brainer so having them do it.

The coating wears off to the right size for that bore and if checked later it will show the differences between each piston.

I prefer WPC treatment since it is not a coating, but just as beneficial.
