Could there be an issue with the fork being situated too high or too low for it to properly connect with the throw out bearing? Is the fork on backwards (I will know this answer tonight or tomorrow night)? The triangle on the tips of the fork face toward the transmission to provide a pivot, right?

I am planning on removing, verifying the condition of the fork and the bearing, replacing, and following the factory manual on bearing replacement. I do question the measurement of .8 inches of thread going through the cleavis at the end of the clutch cable. Mine has not been this distance since I owned the vehicle, even with the original cable. Shifting has never been an issue, until this time.

Any thoughts and opinions are welcome and encouraged.

Here is the damaged throw out bearing. The wear is on the inside and the outside of the interior. The bearing part still spins smoothly.
