Camshaft for Street/Track 3.2SS

I'd be interested in any suggestions for camshafts for the following motor:

3.2 SS (3.0SC case & crank with 98mm JE Pistons & Mahle jugs)
10.5:1 CR
Twin-Plug Ignition
SSI Heat Exchangers w/ Factory-style Dual-Out muffler
50mm PMO's (planning to use smaller venturis - suggestions welcome)
Carrera 3.2 Heads (Intake ports 41mm, Exhaust 38mm expanding to 41mm at exit)
Carrillo Rods & Aase valve springs with Ti retainers
Short and Close Custom gear ratios in gearbox
Desired peak power somewhere around 6,500rpm with 7,200 max revs and wide power band
Lightweight car (<2,000 pounds)
High Altitude (5,000ft and higher)

I am not looking for max hp (I know the exhaust is a bottleneck, but I want heat in Denver and quiet enough for morning drives) - I want a flexible motor that will still get the "on the cam" feeling and rush towards redline.

One cam I am considering is the Elgin 306/288 - any thoughts?

Note: Engine is already built, so please consider the above parts "locked in".

Thanks!

I have a 3.0 with 95mm 10.5 : 1 JE, twin plug with 28 degrees of timing, 46mm Webers and headers with muffler. I run a GE60 cam. Power starts at about 4500 and pulls hard to 7200 and then signs off. Below 4500 it runs like a stocker, idles nicely and is easy to drive on the street. No dyno numbers but an experienced "butt" dyno says 265 - 275 hp at the wheels.

Since the max lift is less than .500 and the ramp is easy, this cam is pretty easy on the valve train.

DC60 or DC62. I recommend DR racing cams.

street 36-38mm vernturi...you will need to decide what compromise suits you
track 44mm venturi or so.

jetting will be different between both venturis
