Cleaning Engine Parts

OK;
Using the chemical stripper (not Pepsi) on the valves seems to be working. Any ideas on how to dispose of the stuff afterwards? My thoughts are to set out an open jar (outside) to vent off the volatile fumes and then put the leftover into an old paint container until my town has a hazardous chemical recycling day. Anyone have a better idea?

I also recently discovered that my trusty Harbor Freight Tools parts washing tank rusted through since the last time that I used it a couple of years ago. :( Before I go off and order a new one, does anyone know of a source for some sort of rubber(ized) parts washing tub that won't have the rust issue in the future?
