964 Cam Timing! Help!

I have bought 964 cams for my 3.0 sc. I have the engine build about done except i dont understand the cam timing. I have installed the cams, chains etc with the cam "dots" up on both cams. When i installed the chain tensioners i left the pin out so the tension wouldnt turn the cams too. They are totaly up and perfect and the Pully is at z1. I have a dial indicator settup and now need to perfect the timing. The problem is the 964 profile. I dont know the the degrees etc fort these cams. ALSO, i am retarded in terms of cam timing all together so any and all information you have on the subject is appreciated. If you wish to e-mail please send to BIGRED2500@earthlink.net.

From memory, the setting value for these cams is 1.26mm +/.1 mm. Wayne's engine book has a great description of how to set the cam timing. You will need to tension the chain with the little tool for this or a C-clamp. The hydraulic tensioner doesn't apply enough tension by itself.
