Ground 3.2 L Crank
I'm looking for opinions on using a .25 mm undersized crank. The crank was ground by Competition Eng's supplier and should be done correctly. What are the pro's and con's?
Thanks, Arnie BTW I just can't find Std/Std Crank... |

You may need to have the crank Nitrided again. I believe all cranks from Porsche were originally Nitrided or surface hardened.

There are many people who are not fond of reground cranks. Then there are people who say they are fine. Walt would be a good source for info, particularly if he's selling you the crank. Ask him if it's been rehardened (the plugs need to be replaced if it's been rehardened).
