I am rebuilding my 2.7 and 2 of my cylinder on the same bank were damaged. The original cylinders are a 5 in height and I have a chance to buy 3 new cylinders the are 6's. Is it okay to have a bank of 5's and the other 6's?

Yes, it's okay. You just need each bank to have the same height cylinders.

You would also need the base gaskets to make up for the difference if the height between Left and Right weas significant. Otherwise you would have different deck heights and therefore compression ratios from L to R.

Does anyone know what the difference in deck height is between a number 5 and 6 cylinder? Would I have to bring up the bank of number 5 cylinders to the same height of the 6’s, because of a compression differential?
