3.0 Engine Swap

Will a 79 3.0 SC engine swap into an 82 SC without any modifications? My main concern is the electrical connections.

the longblock is the same, except for the intake port size. which is larger on the 79. you could put your 82 intake system on and then there would be no changes needed. the complete 79 engine would bolt in, intake and all, but the oxygen sensor system wiring would not be used. there might be a wire or two in the 14 pin connector that would have to be matched up, but that's about it.
