Removing sprockets from intermediate shaft?

I've pulled the circlips, but the gears are on there good and tight. Is this a job for a gear puller? They're not showing signs of coming off with whacks with the rubber BFH.

Thanks JW, I'll head to my mechanic's tomorrow and fire up the hydraulic press..
