CIS Airflow Numbers

Admittedly I'm something of an MFI zealot, but the number of recent posts on upgrade specs for CIS engines got me thinking. For MFI or Carb'd engines, we've come up with a lot of information about airflow and gas speeds through the ports and intakes. It wasn't too difficult to figure out if you know the cylinder capacity, engine speed and port or venturi size. But CIS engines all have that big airflow meter obstruction in the way. I don't even know if the 2.4TK, 2.7 or 3.0 have the same sized meters or not. Does anyone else know?

What's the diameter?
Anyone ever measure the airflow through one?

While admittedly I've got enough stuff on my plate right now, the issue did pic my curiosity.
