Oil overfilled? Only fill half way between the marks on the dipstick when the engine is at idle, fully warm on level ground. Any more, it will overflow when it gets hot.

(thinking happy thoughts for you that this is the problem)

Tom

On edit, 1 pint in 1200 miles is fine. Mine ate 1Q per 250 miles before it started smoking bad.

Also, the shift key is your friend. Caps=yelling.

Wow..... things are now cleared up,no smoke runs great. Problem was no voltage to warm up regulator or the supplementary air valve, engine took 4 miles to warm up and die ( idle was not set correctly, due to the new injectors) with engine off ,I pulled a tight 90 degree turn sloshed oil to high in the case, and made a 5 minute smoke machine. I am a happy camper thanks to John Walker and this wonderfull board.

Hmm, that typically shouldn't happen with these cars - they are designed for that with the dry sump...
