Porsche Crest How to remove Head gaskets...81' 3.0

These head gaskets do not seem to fall out and I dare NOT pry...So is there a trick...plus how do you clean that mating surface....Heads are being re-worked but PC's are in place.....Thanks Agin Guys....Frank

They get crushed pretty good into the groove, don't they?

I used a sharp seal pick, and *carefully* picked them out of the groove. Some came out easier than others. Just don't damage the groove.

Clean the area with a fine Scotchbrite pad, finishing up with a lint-free cloth and brake cleaner.
