Piston Squirter Cleaning - 4/5/6

I've read several posts on cleaning the piston squirters but I am still totally lost.

Where do you plug the gallery? I've plugged both ends on all through bolts, do I need to plug the port beside the oil thermostat and the two ports perpendicular to that?

Like I said I'm lost, (and Waynes book is very sketchy in this area).
:(

Any one got a better description that even an utter moron could comprehend?

Take a look here:

I basically took an old fuel line, wrapped it in electrical tape to make a real good seal, Plugged up the through bolt hole, then shot cleaner from the bearing journals holes under high pressure.

Maybe I'm not sealing far enough into the bolt hole? That would leave me connected to the gallery, which I should be blocking off with a longer plug?

I pushed my 'plug' in much further, ie far enough to block off the gallery. Now I can blow air through the squirter.
