Question Help...some confusion over P/C's set Part No.

Piston and Cylinder Set - for '84-'89 Carrera (3.2L) 95.0mm:

Rebuild book Part Number (Item 11, listed on pg. 216) is
930.198.981.00

while the PP Catalog lists it as
930.103.981.03

Is this a typo. or maybe a part number revision?

I'd like to resolve this for peace of mind before ordering this expensive item.

Ted before you go out and buy some new P&C's have you seen this set of used ones in the classifieds? Sounds like they could be a good deal.
FS: 3.2L Mahle P&C's exc cond.

I believe most if not all P/C sets have 103 as the second number.

Kurt V,
Thanks for the tip. (Very) unfortunately, I already pulled the trigger and can't turn back (bought new 930.103.981.03). The used P&C's probably would have worked for me. Sigh...

I told my wife about it and she thinks it probably better to just bite the bullet and go new. Huge cost diff., though [cringe]

Anyone figure out why the discrepancy in the part #s???
