Here you go. I have two sets, both from a 2.2S (one 10-1969, the other 10-1970).

Both have damaged cam-lobes. One pair looks as if the PO attacked them with an angle grinder. The other pair is just badly worn.

Anybody knows a shop in europe that welds and grinds (porsche) cams?

grinding cams

Hello, Peter.

I am about to get a largish order of cams ground here in UK.

They will be done on a modern CNC dedicated set up.

If you can get your four to us soonish, we will do them for you as part of the order.

All the S cams we have will be ground to a race profile, if you actually want S profile, we will be making some of those too, from E cams..... the price will be about half to two thirds the cost of new cams.. at this moment I cannot be precise, but the cost to you will not be more than that..

If there is sufficient interest we will be getting some brand new cams made from new cores...this is not yet decided...

We will also be resurfacing a huge batch of rockers, similar pricing...half to two thirds new..

Kind regards
David

Peter: Thanks for the photos. If on the front end of your cam has a stamp "S" or "03", again please show us a photo.

I'm asking because I need to know what they look like as I'm looking for real NOS.
regards
