Starting the Build

Saturday is the day.

With the help of another Pelican Head (Bert Lane), I begin the rebuild of my 3.0 this Saturday. I bought the car with the engine partially disassembled so this is more than exciting, this will be the first chance I have had to drive the car. Can't wait.

Thanks for all the advice that everyone has provided on this board. I have been researching through all the links for months now. Yes, I have the book. Have read it a number of times.

Have fun. I'm rebuilding my 3.2 right now. Oh and don't forget to print out the correction sheet for Wayne's book. There were a few errors in it.

Over the 4 months that I have been on the board, I've asked a lot of questions (appologies for the ignorance on some of them). Much thanks for everyone for taking the time to break me in.

Can't wait to fire it up. Will let you know how it goes.

Now, back to reading the book for the 20th time.
