Muffler mount question
 

I'am almost done with my 2.2E engine(yea) but since I did not take it apart I'am stumped on a couple of issues while trying to put the final pieces together.
1. what do the muffler straps hold onto besides the muffler??
2.what color is the wire that plugs onto the distributor

There are probably 2 wires that plug into your dizzy. One is purple and black, the other I can't remember but it should run to your CDI box.

The muffler straps only hold your muffler to the motor mount(the piece that sits between the crossbar and the engine case.

I don't see any way to attach the strap's to the mount....maybe I'am missing something??

No wonder I don't have anything that looks like that on my mount!! Hmm!!

The bracket you need is 901.111.151.04.
