Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness

Well, who would ever want to put a nasty old crud covered components back on a newly rebuilt motor.

My anal retentive clean up project for my plumbing and fan progressed nicely today.

I thought a few of our other rebuild project people might want to see some before and after pics.

Ugg . . .

A few leaks here and there . . .

Much better

A little reminder why brushing sandblasted stainless improves appearances

And another half completed example.

I posted earlier on how people got their engines looking so spiffy....how did you end up doing yours.....just lots of elbow grease and blasting?

The fan was all elbow grease, dremmel tool and sandpaper.

The exhaust was sandblast and abrasive wheel on a drill to give it a shineyer and brushed appearance.

Now its time to clean up the induction system and wastegate.
