911 engine #64C3903 What is it??
Help!!!!!! I need to know asap!

Wayne... Jim Thanks a guy had an engine on ebay and selling it as
a 1977 2.7 but he gave the engine # 64C3903 well I thought he had a digit off namely the C so I asked him to confirm the engine # at which time he emailed me a very good picture of the engine #... The only thing I can think is that someone had a long block 3.0 and put 2.7 heat exchangers and CIS making it look like a 2.7 anyway I bought the engine and it is on its way here I guess I will soon know more... and yes Wayne I have your book and did look the# up but thought I might be missing something and or there might be a missprint so I appreciate your input here and would like to tell you that book is awesome / filled with tons of great info PLUS this board is with its tech and classifieds I visit everyday two or three times a day it is the best resource for any Porsche enthusiust |
