While I'm at it - Pilot Bearing...
While the engine & tranny is out, I'm wondering if I should change the pilot bearing?
I replaced the clutch, machined the flywheel & changed the pilot bearing 2 seasons ago. Had no problem with that before I took the engine out. I took a look at the flywheel & it looks perfect (plan is to not remove it), so that got me thinking - do I need to spend yet another $30 to replace the "while-i-m-in-there" parts... the $30 parts do add up fast ![]() Is there a way to measure it to determine if it should be replaced? Thanks...

Right - don't fall into the Ferrari trap. If the pilot bearing was 5 years old or so, I would say replace it, but 2 is still pretty new...
