Its a 930/52 case. Seller is saying that it uses a 9 bolt SC crank. I dont have the book in front of me, but Im 99% sure thats the other turbo carrera case. Does anyone know for sure that a 930/52 has the smaller journals like the 930/02?

The seller has a bunch of mis-information in his ad, but if the case is a 930/52, it does not use the nine bolt crank, but instead is a 1977 Euro Carrera case with the six bolt crank ends...
See Appendix A in the Engine Rebuild Book... -Wayne

Cool. Thanks Wayne. I didnt have access to the book right now.
Thats good news that the case is the same. Does anyone know the difference between a 930/02 and a 930/52 spec? Must there be something different about the engines for them to have a different type number? |
