Engine Block Cross Over Pipe
I'am in the process of completing my rebuild and have been able to buy a set of GHL headers for my 1977 930. Is the part listed on Pelican (C-107-739-10) the oil pipe that replaces the one that goes around the back of the engine. I have seen pictures of Turbos with headers and they all have an engine oil pipe that goes around between the engine and gearbox and was wondering if this is it.
Cheers

If I remember correctly, the oil pipe that is original on your 77 turbo should be the correct one, the later cars had the pipe that needed to be changed.

The oil line that runs between the engine and the gearbox is the main return line on 72-74 cars and is frequently used on cars that are getting their exhaust backdated. I don't know about other exhaust systems but I DO know it won't fit on a car with an SC/carrera style exhaust.. don't ask me about how I know or about the workmanship of the PO of my car
