Fitting Carerra Tensioners on Early Car....Help?

Hi Guys

Getting to my carrera tensioners and I've realised that I need the part that allows the kit to be fitted to older engines... I have the oil sender at the rear of the engine. I'm assuming I use some sort of sleeve in place of the sender block from later cars, is this right?

Does anyone have a part number or a photo to help me out?

Cheers

Order the threaded plug (900.219.009.30) and use it in place of the oil pressure sender. Jim

Block with plug installed on a 1973.5 T (oil pressure sender is in front of engine). Jim

Same engine showing more of the PS chain case and oil lines; plug is not in the block in this image. Jim

Pelican sells an extra long oil line for Non-CIS engines so that you don't have to use that ugly bock or adapter... and it's cheap as dirt. It is Pelican part number: H-107-348-XX. I have one on my engine, and I think it looks much cleaner.

Great stuff! Thank you Jim and JP. I'll go with the plug for the time being and then order the longer line next Pelican shipment.

Cheers
