JE Pistons
I am interested in the 11.5:1, 100mm JE pistons for my 3.6 motor. Is there any problem with tolerences when just swapping the pistons, rings, etc., and using the stock cylinders??

When ordering your pistons, you will want to give your exact bore size, measured with a dial bore gauge. That will ensure that when they size the pistons to allow for a .0015-.0025" clearance, that they will fit properly. The other way to do it is so order the pistons and have the cylinders honed to fit, if there is enough thickness on the nikasil. Otherwise, you'll have to strip and replate to fit the new pistons properly. When we set up cylinders to be plated, we try to make the plating on the thicker side so that there is room for re-honing after significant mileage is accumulated or there is a piston change, requiring adjusting the p/c clearance.
