3.2 short stroke porn -More PIX 7/21 !
Thought I would share the progress on my rebuild. It started life as 78 3 liter. Soon it will be a 3.2 short stroke, CIS with 964 cams, SSI's backdated heating..can't wait to get it back on the road.

Nice motor. I want her, err, I mean it :-) Wait I'm already married, oops.
I've been reading many many threads on the short stroke 3.2 and it seems to be an awesome way to go. Question, with the later 930 case you can go either long (74.4) or short (70.4) strokes. What is the core differences that would make you opt to go one way or the other?

Nice motor.
What induction are you going to be using on this engine and is it going back into a 78 car? Thanks Alan.UK

Mysterytrain, are you using the original cylinders and heads from the 78 motor? More to the point, It came with nikasil?

Andy,
I'm using another set of larger bore 98 mm mahle nikasil. Still have the original nikki set and case. I should have the car back in another week or so.
