Making Photocopies of The Book for Rebuilds
I've read a couple of instances when people say they are getting Wayne's book greasy from flipping through the pages while in the throes of the rebuild.
I solved that problem by making photocopies of the relevent sections, thus keeping The Book clean and unsullied, and using the photocopies while in the garage. Works like a charm!!!!!

I like the fact that my rebuild book has become a little greasy from using in the garage. his book is one of the few I've actually added notes on the blank pages at the end of the book.
You should see my 101 projects...now there's a greasy book.

I do believe the legal and ethical thing to do is to buy a second copy for use in the garage. Jim

What about the CD he offers, and print out sheets as you go? I've got the book, but I'm thinking about this when I do my motor.

It is legal to photocopy pages of a book for personal use. However, the photocopies are typically very poor quality and in B&W.

My solution to the same problem is I bought two copies. My well worn one is upstairs in my bedroom for night reading. The other stays in the garage or my work room.

Mine has greasy fingerprints. All my car-tech books have greasy fingerprints.
No offence to Wayne, but come on, it's not like it's a first edition copy of "Huckleberry Finn". Tom |
